Preparing for the FAA Part 107 Certification and the Basics of Drone Technology

ClassGraphic Are you using drones for your business or planning to start a business using drones? Do you want to expand your photography business with drone technology? This course includes all necessary content to earn the FAA Part 107 certification, which is required for commercial drone operation. Drones have a growing role in industries like real estate, agriculture, engineering, media, and more. Specifically, the course will cover: drone operating regulations and procedures, safety, airspace classifications, weather considerations, maintenance and inspection, and loading and performance. We will also address automated permissions, the latest FAA remote ID rule, and compliance requirements. The course concludes with an introduction to flying a modern drone.

Book and Practice Tests are included in the course price. Certification exam cost ($175) is not included in tuition.
Students will fly college-owned drones during class.
