ClassGraphic Hey, rising 10th graders to Graduated Seniors!  Do you love all things science?  Interested in what it takes to make vaccines and other modern biologic drugs? Come learn about Biomanufacturing in a FREE camp! Through this one-week camp, students will learn the techniques involved in making some of our most complex and useful drugs.

This camp is offered free of charge as part of a Commonwealth of Virginia special appropriation to BRCC and JMU to help build a talent pipeline for Merck and other Shenandoah Valley biotechnology manufacturers. Youth camps offered to raise awareness of the Biotechnology certificates and degrees, to help increase enrollments at these higher ed institutions.

Prerequisite:  completion of a high school Biology class
