Commercial Driver's License Class A

Get the skills to become a CDL Class A commercial driver through this intensive program of classroom, practice range, and over-the-road training.  Our CDL faculty/staff are DMV certified examiners; final skills testing now provided on-site.

Course prerequisite:  Class A Learner’s Permit and current DOT (Department of Transportation) physical.
 
BRCC currently has scholarship funding to defray the cost of many workforce courses - such as Commercial Driver’s License Class A.  Most Virginia residents receive a 2/3 discount on tuition and, for many unemployed individuals or individuals in low paying jobs, courses are free or nearly free.
