« back to classes page
Explore concepts and familiarize yourself with the key aspects to build resilience, using a metaphor of a Sailboat to build awareness. Resilience allows individuals to bounce back from stress and effectively tackle challenges. With practice, stressful experiences can strengthen us and teach us how to handle similar situations in the future. Thus, the most resilient people have had opportunities to "practice" facing challenges. In this introductory course, we explore the sailboat metaphor, using it to examine your current life stress. You'll create a vision of yourself as the "best possible captain" of your sailboat and identify initial actions to turn this vision into reality. This metaphor helps you navigate life's challenges and build resilience through practical exercises.

This class is part of the Building Management Muscles Series. More information on the Series is available here.
