CompTIA Security+ Certification Review

Obtaining the CompTIA Security+ certification proves that you have the knowledge and skills required to assess the security posture of an enterprise environment and to recommend and implement appropriate security solutions; monitor and secure hybrid environments, including cloud, mobile, and IoT; operate with an awareness of applicable laws and policies, including principles of governance, risk, and compliance; identify, analyze, and respond to security events and incidents. 
 
Through lecture, practice exams, and study materials, this certification review course covers the CompTIA Security+ SY0-701 exam objectives and help prepare you to pass the certification exam and receive your Security+ certification. 

Upon completion of the course, you should feel ready to take the certification exam at a local testing center or online – either at the college or your own location. An added bonus – both the textbook and a test voucher are included as part of the course material!
 
Prerequisite: Prospective students should have some work or educational experience in computer networking and basic cyber security. Completion of the Google IT Support Professional Certificate is also helpful.

CompTIA Security+ Certification Testing at BRCC will be held on the following dates:  April 7 and April 9.  Your instructor will provide more details in class.
 
This class meets live using Zoom on the days and times indicated (synchronous). A computer or cell phone with a microphone and camera is highly recommended to get the most out of the online Zoom class.
