Ceramics: Wheel Thrown and/or Hand-building

CourseGraphic In this class students will learn various techniques including: connecting thrown pots to make a bigger vessel, altering thrown pots to create new shapes, using molds to create large hand-built forms, and general hand building techniques for creating functional and decorative pieces. Students in this class would need to have taken a basic pottery class prior to this course, or be able to make a 4 inch cylinder unaided.

Fee provides tools, supplies and 25 lbs of clay.  
Bring a towel and a mask
Registration requested a week prior to first class.
