Have you always wanted to make a meaningful difference in a person’s life? Medical Assisting is one of the fastest growing careers, and just may be for you. Learn to perform medical office responsibilities such as reception skills, handling insurance, basic billing and coding, phlebotomy, injections, medication administration, vital signs, electrocardiograms, EMR use, and more. This course prepares students for the Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) certification through the National Healthcareer Association (NHA).

CCMA healthcare students are required to watch
this 30-minute orientation video before enrollment. Students must email

Class meets Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9:00 am - 2:00 pm in person, on campus
Note: In addition to the scheduled classes/labs/zoom meetings, there is a minimum of 50 hours online work that must be completed.
