CourseGraphic Poet Maya Angelou said, "There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you."  Do you have a story you'd like to share, but it never seems to convey what you envisioned once your pen touches the paper?  Whether you want to pass written memories on to future generations, write a poetry collection, or begin that first chapter of a novel - yet can't seem to find your own unique writing style - this class is for you!  Join a published confessional poet to explore examples of memoir, cover multiple genres and topics, set the stage, convey emotion (without naming it), describe your senses, and create metaphors.  Find your writing voice with your unique style and approach.  Only YOU can tell the story you have in mind!  Bring your favorite writing utensil and a notebook.
