Pre-requisite:  Fundamentals of Fabrication and Intro to Machine Tool Practices I.

This class continues to explain the technical aspects of manual machine tool practices as they pertain to more advanced drill press operations, including job planning and management tasks, benchwork tasks, basic mathematics, applying the machinery's handbook, basic measurement, basic machining theory, and layout.  There will be a NIMS machining project the student will complete with instructor working side-by-side.  The project will be completed with an online NIMS quiz (Drill Press Skills) to earn a NIMS credential.

Safety glasses are required.
