Theatre Workshop for Youth: The Hermitage for Girls (ages 13-18)

ID : 11428
« back to classes page
If you are between the ages of 13 and 18 (rising grades 8-12), you can participate in an 8 week-long workshop culminating in a Fine Arts Center Theatre performance!  In addition to dramatic exercises designed to hone acting skills, there will also be rehearsals for a brand new, action-packed, original musical created by two former workshop students.  The Hermitage offers great roles for both male and female actors.  In a secret town on the border of the US and Canada, potential new townspeople are screened for years before they are allowed to enter. However, when an American businessman cons his way in, violence sparks from a growing movement of anti-outsiders. Those that are interested will have the opportunity to audition for roles that allow them to sing original songs! In addition, there are large acting roles for those who do not wish to sing.
