Have you always wanted to make a meaningful difference in a person's life? Medical Assisting is one of the fastest growing careers, and just may be for you. Learn to perform basic medical office responsibilities such as reception skills, handling insurance, coding, blood draws, medication administration, vital signs, electrocardiogram, professionalism, and more.
This course prepares students for the Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) certification through National Healthcareer Association (NHA).
This is also one of the classes in the Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification program. RMA test is given through the Association of Medical Technologists (AMT).
BONUS: 3 bonus weeks of Ophthalmology (Eye) training to prepare to work as a Medical Assistant in an Ophthalmology office.
