Expand your scope of practice and qualify for jobs with employers that set a highest standard.  This final advanced, hybrid (part online, part in class) course in the RMA program includes anatomy & physiology, pharmacology, EKG, practice management, and RMA exam review. The Registered Medical Assistant  (RMA) program is a 720-hour program designed to provide the knowledge and skills needed for the RMA exam, and to function effectively as medical assistants.

The Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification is offered through the Association of Medical Technologists (AMT).  Approximately 6 hours of online work per week.

Prerequisites:  Medical Office Assistant course (MOA) and certification, Certified Clinical Medical course (CCMA) and certification, and 160 hour externship. All prerequisites must be met before registering for this certification.
