CourseGraphic A great beginner's course for those with clay experience looking for exposure to new forms and decorative techniques, and for artists wanting to delve deeper into the secrets of a pottery studio. Get comfortable with hand-building clay through an ever-changing variety of exercises and projects designed for a diversity of skill levels. Each class features a specific project and structured demonstration of technique, which students then execute with hands-on assistance from the instructor/sculptor Liz Beavers. Former projects have included slump-mold plates and platters, faces, garden ornaments and small sculptural forms. Your vision becomes your next art masterpiece! Course fee covers tools, supplies, 25 lbs of clay; bring a towel and mask.
