Certified Professional Coder Prep Course Fall 2023

Are you a detail-oriented person?  Put those skills to good use and learn what is required for physician medical coding. Instruction includes:  medical terminology, beginning through advanced CPT Procedure Coding, HCPCS, and ICD-10 diagnosis coding.

Course prepares students to sit for the American Association for Professional Coders (AAPC) Certified Professional Coder (CPC) exam. 

There is a significant amount of online work in addition to scheduled classes.

BRCC currently has scholarship funding to defray the cost of many workforce courses - such as Certified Professional Coder Prep Course.  Most Virginia residents receive a 2/3 discount on tuition and, for many unemployed individuals or individuals in low paying jobs, courses are free or nearly free.  Email (wce@brcc.edu) or call (540-453-2215) to talk with an advisor who can help get you into a short term training course at BRCC today!
