Certified Clinical Medical Assistant Fall 2023 Evening

Have you always wanted to make a meaningful difference in a person's life? Medical Assisting is one of the fastest growing careers, and just may be for you. Learn to perform basic medical office responsibilities such as reception skills, handling insurance, coding, blood draws, medication administration, vital signs, electrocardiogram, professionalism, and more. This course prepares students for the Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) certification through National Healthcareers Association (NHA).

This is also one of the classes in the Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification program. RMA test is given through the Association of Medical Technologists (AMT).

Class meets Tuesday andThursday from 8/22/23 to 12/7/23 6:00pm-10:00pm

Co-requisite CPR for Healthcare Providers - included in cost of class - date and time TBD

Certification Exam - day and time TBD

Note: In addition to the scheduled classes/labs/zoom meetings, there is other online work that must be completed.
