Learn to perform basic medical office clinical responsibilites.  Topics include phlebotomy, pharmacology, medication admininstration, vital signs, EKG, workplace behavior and more.  This course prepares students for the Certified Clincal Medical Assistant (CCMA) certification through National Healthcareers Association (NHA).  This is also the beginning clinical class in the Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification program.  RMA test is given through the Association of Medical Technologists (AMT).  Corequisite CPR.
