Adventures in Waterway Biology Fun (rising grades 3-5)

This daylong class will be a fun blending of our "Water Adventure Week" activities (rafting, tubing, swimming holes, creek hike) with hands on learning lead by a staff naturalist each day.  Some of our learning experiences will include fish sampling and identification by the Virginia Department of Game & Inland Fisheries, net sampling and identification of river critters, water quality testing, and general ecology studies.

Please read:  You must bring a bag lunch (sealed in a zip-lock bag) and drinks in plastic screw-top bottles each day for all Outdoor Adventure classes. You will receive a course information packet after registering.
