A Patient Service Representative is usually the first point of contact for patients or clients. Certified Patient Service Representatives help coordinate patient visits and facilitate the smooth running of the office or medical unit. In this class you'll learn reception and clerical skills, scheduling, customer service, electronic health record navigation, OSHA and HIPPA regulations, Medical Terminology, Financial Management, Basic Procedure and Diagnostic Coding, and Law/Ethics.

Note: In addition to the scheduled classes/labs/zoom meetings, there is
significant online work that must be completed.
