ClassGraphic Expand your skills and earning potential with an EKG Technician certification.  Learn to properly administer Electrocardiograms (EKG's), resolve artifacts and record EKG's.  Students will learn heart anatomy, physiology, conduction and to recognize and interpret heart rhythms. Successful completion of this program will prepare students to sit for the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) EKG Technician Certification (CET) exam.

Students must complete the Healthcare Orientation prior to registering for this class. 

Note: In addition to the scheduled classes/labs/zoom meetings, there is other an additional 12-15 hours of online work
The Workforce Medical Terminology Class is highly recommended prior to taking this class.

FIRST DAY OF CLASS IS THURSDAY, Feb 6th - IN PERSON

Class meets 2/6/27 - 04/032027 - every Saturday, in-person, on campus from 9:00 am-3:30 pm and every Thursday via Zoom, 6:00 pm-8:00 pm

Please read:  Textbook(s), online resources and one certification testing fee included in tuition. Certification Exam - date and time TBD. This class is for the independent self study student. During the week this class requires an in person zoom one night per week. Lecture, lab, and testing will be on Saturday on campus. There is a minimum of 12-15 hours online work prior to class each week. The Workforce Medical Terminology Class is highly recommended prior to taking this class.
